We can provide barrier-free access to the museum through the main entrance in the Lion Courtyard.
Partially accessible routes within the museum:
- lift access to the first and second floors, where all our exhibitions are accessible
- there is also a lift to the medieval palace level in the basement, but wheelchair access is not possible due to the nature of the medieval palace
The museum welcomes visitors with disabilities. Please contact us in advance before your visit.
Visitors with disabilities and their accompanying person (1 person per person) are admitted free of charge.
Museum education sessions can be requested from the museum education staff at the Castle Museum for groups of people with disabilities arriving in an organised way. Guided tours and museum education services for disabled people arriving in groups or in an organised way may be provided at a discount or, in justified cases, free of charge, upon prior request.
